Well, I would feel fine about it to be honest. In my advice above, I've said the PS3 is a great Blu-Ray player (which it is) and noted that DTS HD MA may be enabled through an update in the future. I've also said above that in the future, some players may come out at the same price which offer this, but at this moment in time, it's a great budget player and should not be ignored. It's up to them if they buy it or not.
Don't get me wrong - I understand your point, all I'm saying is I don't think people should rule out buying a PS3 as Blu-Ray player just because it might not be able to play DTS HD MA at this moment in time. If people can wait, then, fine, wait for a budget player which is all singing and all dancing. But if you want to buy now, you should have a look at the PS3 and I think it's wrong to tell people to ignore it. If you really want DTS HD MA sound, then fair enough, it's not for you, but (believe it or not), not everyone is going to be bothered by this.
