yes, i believe they may need a 3d firmware update though..

i asked as im currently trying to get a 3d blu ray to play and it wont play it keeps saying on screen a tv and player that support 3d are needed

you need the update, connect the ps3 to the net and get it, then it will play them fine...

Edit: To do this you have to

1. While in the PS3ïs XMB/menu go to Settings>Display Settings>Video Output Settings

2. Run through the Automatic Detection Process and it should detect your 3D display

The latest firmware is version 3.55 found here

And if that doesn't work, you need to also ensure:

1. Your HDMI cables are High Speed certified (if you're not sure, let us know what make they are).

2. If running through an AV amp, the PS3 must be running through compliant HDMI 1.4 ports (again, if this is the case and you're not sure, let us know the make and model).
