Projector Setup

If you put a projector on the ceiling, to connect it to your amp or blu ray etc....would you need to run a lengthy hdmi cable to achieve this.

Or is there another way, i'm not aware of, thx.

Yes, you would. There are alternatives using HDMI-to-Ethernet cable converters, but these tend to be more expensive than running HDMI cable for all but the longest runs.
