Look at Sony HW45 projector. It’s the best you can get under 2K. I have been considering the Optoma UHD51 but looking at the size of the chip, I’ve decided to wait longer to upgrade to 4K (it’s not a native 4K projector).

Look at Sony HW45 projector. It’s the best you can get under 2K. I have been considering the Optoma UHD51 but looking at the size of the chip, I’ve decided to wait longer to upgrade to 4K (it’s not a native 4K projector).

Check on YouTube they compare the resolution of the optoma single chip mirror tech to the Sony true 4k and they can't tell any difference.

Now take the equivalent benq projector and it's very blurry in comparison.

I really like Sony but they are too expensive.
If I were only buying a 1080p then I'd get a much cheaper model to begin with.
