Hi all

I'm looking at the above as an idea for a gift to be part of a Cyrus and B&W separates system.

The turntable needs to be 'plug & play' really so the Project is ideal as it has the built in phono-amp.

What i need to know is can the speed be changed so that LP's can be listened to as well as singles? I'm not clued up about vinyl as i've never really owned any, always been a CD boy :)

Cheers for all/any advice :)

Think you've picked the wrong one there - it has a USB phono box built in - ie one designed to be hooked up to a computer for recording vinyl - if you want electronic speed change (that's if the giftee has any singles), you want this one, which has a speed box built in to change from 33 to 45rpm, as well as a phono stage (which, FYI, is not USB).

Hi John

Cheers for that. I just looked at the post again and realised i'd looked at the wrong turntable myself!

Thanks again though :)
