Problem with STR-DA6400ES and BDP5000ES

I received my stuff today, but I have a problem, i connected the BDP to the 6400ES with HDMI and the 6400 to my Pioneer 6090 with HDMI and no sound or image, but my PVR and DVD-R connected the same way give a perfect image on my TV with 1080P

I tried diffferent resolutions and settings on the BDP but no change.

and when I connect my BDP to my TV, there is no problem, I have an image with all the resolutions 1080P, 720P...

So the problem is not with the BDP and not with the TV

So the problem is between the BDP and the 6400es, but I can't believe they are not compatible????

maybe i need to update the firmwares?

can someone help me???

Not sure if you got it resolved but did you select the HDMI input on the remote of the receiver?

Have alerted the Sony tech guys: if they have ideas, or if it's a known problem, I'm sure they'll respond here.

Word back from the Sony guys is that they've hooked their 5000 up to a 6400 and cannot reproduce the problem no matter what they do to settings either in the Amp or the Bluray.

The only suggestions they make are to put the HDMI settings on the amp as follows:

HDMI Control Off
Audio Out Amp
Sub Auto
HATS Off
Video Direct On
Bluray to HDMI1 and output to HDMI B (No CEC)

If that doesn't do it, then they suggest you're going to need to try another TV to take it out of the equation.
