I have set up surround speakers and tried to configure them using the automatic setup. The amp runs through the setup and the speakers omit a signal. However it does not recognise the surround left and the surround rear left speakers and asks me to retry. I am also having trouble getting the speaker setup page to display on the screen. Would really appreciate any advise

I had this issue then read a bit of the manual...
The rear left and right are for when you have a 7.1 set up, you need to use the centre surround.

.......Honestly as if anyone would confuse the connections between rear surround 7.1 speaker connections and the "normal" 5.1 connections on an Onkyo Receiver I mean you'd have to be pretty stu ............................................DOH!
