Am tempted by the above but would like to hear of anyone elses experience before I commit myself. (My music is a mainly a mix of classical and opera/vocal)

This is a good question, there seems to be quite alot of trouble attached to either finding out alot about the D Twos or buying them. Many ProAc sellers seem reluctant to sell them as, apparently, people spending over £1500 on speakers usually buy floorstanders. I'm toying with the idea of purchasing some, but there are few places that sell them - I think the viable alternative comes in the form of models from Sonus Faber and, with a more aquired taste, Dali.

Well i'm sure you've already spotted it, but click here for a review of the ProAc Response D Two. A short review but we had a long, hard listen - far more impressive to hear than to look at!

Clare - yes I have read the short review you referred to but it really is too short to help very much. Did you do a more in depth review at the time, and if so how can I obtain a copy ?

Thanks in anticipation.
