Pro-Ject Elemental Connection to AV Amp?

Quick question.

Can i connect this turntable directly to my Sony STR-DN1040 A/V amplifier with a pair of Stereo Phono cables? Or will i need a separate phono amplifier stage?

The Sony has no phono stage of its own, so yes, you'll need an additional phono pre-amp.

A quick look at the manual might have answered you question sooner. 🙂

By the look of the rear of that amp you are going to need a phono preamp of some sort.
