Price Match @ John Lewis (Scotland)

Has anyone managed a price match at the Aberdeen or Edinburgh (is there one in Glasgow?) Stores?

I am nearest Aberdeen & I'm after either the 37" or 42" PX80b

How do you go about price matching? Can I just go to the store & haggle there & then or do I need to have printouts of local places with lower prices?

Any info would be great

See here. I think any documentary evidence you can supply of the price you would like matched would be advantageous.

In the same boat myself nellyloo, no sucessful JL pm's to date.

There is a John Lewis Glasgow store, making 3 in tot for Scotland.

I've been using the JL email system, just pick the store you want to contact from the drop down menu

Don't know if this is of any use but Richer Sounds will price match the internet and give you up to an extra £100 off if the purchase is expensive enough. They'll also let you purchase an extra 3yr warranty for 10% of the purchase price and come to your home to pick up the TV if anything does go wrong with it.

The main downside is you won't get any buy now pay later deals if that's what you're after. Also I don't think I saw that Panasonic in the Glasgow store when I was in for a look today but it's worth giving them a phone anyway.

There are stores in Glasgow and Ediburgh and they actually expect you to haggle a bit
