Dont want to start a debate just after a quick bit of advice i thought id try a couple of mains cables and possibly a surge protector/adapter currently all i have is a Belkin Av surge protector with virtually everything plugged in to it! Id like to possibly pick something up off ebay so i can always sell on without much loss if im not happy cables £30-50 each same for the surge protector any suggestions please? Also if i get a couple what would benefit most amps or the sonos etc? Thanks

They aren't a patch on the class leaders I'm afraid. But I'm comparing against much more expensive. A mains cable will never give you a massive change in sound, but it will refine a sound you like, add more air etc. That's been what I've found.
