Thanks - unfortunately WHF does not provide details re: their analogue reference standards in this link. Although I enjoy WHF reviews, they have unfortunately an fast-food character: summary of highlights, no technical background or information, etc. In this sense, it it dissapointing to read a review that says you need to spend a certain amount of money on equipment in order to enjoy the benifits of the phono stage (which is clearly the case with uber high-end kit) but which provides absolutely no background information as to what equipment was used in the test, and what appeared to work well and what did not, etc.
