Please help with any advice for new cd player and speakers

We need to replace a 20 (?) year-old Bose cd/radio player that has 2 speakers and a sub woofer (?) or base speaker. Prefer a player that can play multiple cd's but this isn't mandatory. The system will be used in one room only (with 2 walls of books). and it should be wireless (WiFi?) Any suggestions will be very, very appreciated since we know little about sound systems. Thank You!

Have a look at Onkyo CRN-755. You'd need a pair of speakers but nothing stopping you from reusing the ones you have. Otherwise some Mission LX1 or LX2 should do it.

our speakers were hard- wired to the Bose cd player. Is there a way to convert to WiFi?

No, not WiFi but speakers could potentially be connected to WiFi connected amp like the one I mentioned. It also has a built-in CD player.

Marantz PM6006 and CD6006 good basic system and not to expensive

Mabye an all in one system like the Marantz M-CR412 or Denon RCD-M41
