So, I just picked up a Sonos Connect and installed it. Bit disapointed. I'd hoped it would just 'see' my upnp music on my synology nas drive - but no. Other devices see the upnp music no problem. Does sonos not support this?

Looks like I have to manually map the nas drive with its username and password. So I'll see how that goes. So much for upnp. Still. If the music's there...
This is the biggest advantage of Sonos, it doesn't require any of that rubbish, just a simple SMB/CIFS share and you're done, which is supported by the overwhelming majority of OSs and NAS devices, it's the main reason I chose Sonos because I couldn't be bothered faffing around with upnp or dlna and all that nonsense.
