playbar connection issues

my tv doesnt have optical out options are as i figure.1 optical out direct from sky hd but not sure if it would work and are there lipsinc issues.2 some kind of switch/convertor analouge to digital cyp spring to mind or spend a £grand on a shiny new tv.

the first option also bypasses my bd player so a splitter might be required.

How old is your tv? You can run optical out from your sky HD box, though you may need to make a few adjustments in the audio output settings on the sky box.

The Playbar itself also features lipsync adjustment as well I believe.

panasonic th50pz80 bought it in 2007.should have bought the pz81 and i wouldnt be having this problem
