Pioneer LX53 Video passthrough

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Pioneer VSX LX53 receiver, I have hooked it up via HDMI with Sky HD box and Panasonsic Plasma TV. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could advise me as to the settings required to enable the video signal to pass through the receiver when it is switched off.

Thanks for replying John, I hope you're wrong! What puzzles me is that, if my recollection is correct, my previous receiver (Yamaha 765) was downgraded to 4 stars because it originally didn't have the pass-through yet the Pioneer LX 53 was given best in class status in 2010.

If not possible. Perhaps run another set of leads between source and tv. I was going to do this between sky hd box and plasma. A component and an optical lead leaving the coax and hdmi going to lx 82.
