Hi, I'm looking for a screen no bigger than 32" and aware that Pioneer's Kuro lcd KRL-32v has had a price crash to under £699 but is it the best 32" lcd screen on the market for the price?

I'm unable to go larger than 32" due to space restrictions and am aware that both Panasonic & Sony are launching new lcd models soon.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I spent ages deliberating over Full HD 32" LCDs and eventually settled on the Pioneer KRL-32V which I've now had for a month (£679 with a 5-year warranty from TLC Broadcast). It's a stunning TV with some of the best blacks and colours I've seen on an LCD. If you watch with a little ambient light in the room, the picture has a very plasma-like quality to it which is no bad thing. Particularly noteworthy is its SD performance which is easily the best I've seen on an LCD, absolutely trouncing that of my old Panasonic which I paid £1000 for in 2006. The only negative I can think of is its occasional motion blurring (particularly black motion on dark coloured backgrounds) though, of course, that's something all LCDs suffer from to a degree.
