Hi All

My local hi-fi dealer is offering the above ex-display for £300,my question is I,m using a Sony bdp-550 at the moment is the pioneer much better than my sony I'm not bothered by all the BD-live stuff just the best picture and sound-it will be connected to a Yamaha RVX-1800 and Panasonic 42PV500 plasma.

Thanks

Thats a great offer if you are happy with it, and i take you have seen it buy it, this was £1000 when first released.Just ask your dealer to upgrade the firmware to the latest one, if he has not done so already, and ask if he can Multi-region it for you as well[DVD ONLY]he may charge a small amount for this but is still worth it, but as i say this may be done already, you can read the review on this site as well, but i would take his arm off for this price, and this player is a step up from the panasonics and sonys, buy with confidence and enjoy. Sorry just to throw a spanner in the works, you could pay approx £30 more and get the FD-51,which is a great player this is based on the LX-71 same PQ but buld quality is not as good as the 70A or 71, sorry buddy for telling you this, it may just cause you doubt, if it were me i would buy the 70-A but just wanted to give you the options, buy it today if you can get your self a Blu-ray DVD and enjoy.
