pioneer bdp lx 52 or lx 53??

Anyone know what the difference in spec and performance is??

They are both at the a similar price point now.

I just got the LX53. Not bad at all man, not bad.

Great black, motion and 24p. Fast too imo

The 53 is not the simple evolution of the 52 that the series number would suggest.

Looking at the 52 for a while now and my local hi fi shop says that it is the "superior player" ?

Is there any difference under the lids??

The 52 is pure Pioneer, like the 320. The 53 is a Sharp-Pioneer collaboration.
