The model number is correct, there is a store still selling this model and not the newer 5090, so I have a couple of questions:

1) What is a reasonable price, don't laugh but they are still trying to sell it for £2,300 !

2) If I could knock them down, is it still a good TV and any better than my Panasonic PZ85B ?

Thanks in advance

yes it is a better TV than your Pansonic. As you can get new 5090's for less than you have quoted you would be right to bargain. I would wonder why they still had it and if it was actually new but presuming all is ok I would expect less than £1500.

There's a 508D in another forum's classifieds for under a grand.

I know it's not a 5090 but I was looking for a 50'' display so I bought the one Nay Tyson had spotted. Cheers for that as I paid 850 quid for a screen in as new condition.

The receipt he gave me showed he'd paid 3.4 K only 2 years ago

Now on the wall and I am very happy with it.

Well done you got a bargain there, think most sites didn't review the set as it was so expensive and rare!
