pioneer 320 bdp or sony 360bdp

Is the pioneer really worth twice the price of the sony? Will be playing through sony 820 amp to kef 3005se 5.1 on pioneer 5090 plasma.

I haven't seen either of them, but I would guess it depends how you'll be using the player. I doubt you'd see a massive difference in HD picture quality or HD audio if you'll be sending it via HDMI for your amp to decode. If it's going to be used to play CD's as well, I'd go with the Pioneer, if it's just for blu-rays and your amp is doing the audio decoding save some money with the Sony.
