hi

just had my sky hd box today and SD picture seems worse than the one i got via my built in freesat,

the 3sat dish is only a week old with a quad lmb on it,

is there anything i can do to get the SD PQ up to the 3sat standard i once had

set the sky box to output "auto" you should then have the same quality pictures as with the freesat , as your tv will be upscaling , as it does with the freesat , as opposed to your sky box upscaling , which it probably currently is ..

I, like a number of others on this forum, find 1080i to be the preferred output.

Can't see a significant difference with HD (SD pretty rubbish on both) and no annoying lag when changing between HD and SD.

If you have three feeds from the quad LNB, and you either have a Freesat tuner in the TV or a separate Freesat box, yes you can use both Sky+HD (which uses two feeds) and Freesat.
