Just wondering if anyone here has tested their amp/speaker combo by using an electronic piano as a source? I've never read any magazine reviews doing this, but if piano music is your thing, maybe it would make sense?

An uncompressed recording of a real piano, no that is something else.
I have mentioned this before but I have heard a number of DSD recordings played back in the room in which they were recorded, acoustic instruments and voice in the main.
Playback equipment was a pair of huge ribbon hybrid speakers and a pair of massive valve mono blocks, side by side live vs recorded comparisons could not be done but the playback was incredibly real, those present (recording professionals) at both the recording and the playback thought it pretty accurate.
