Hi All,

I'm getting on of these babys delivered soon - Phillips 42PFL740H - Just wondering if anyone could tell me what the ideal setting for this TV are. I've heard that Philips are notoriously difficult to get set up right and I think I will need some help.

Hey even if you dont own this exact model, just a rough guide for Brightness, Contrast, Colour Temp etc would be extremely useful. Many thanks guys.

PS. I love this forum you guys cheer me up pretty much every day! Best forum on the web!!!

PPS. I hope all that sucking up gets me some comments

I've also just ordered one of these. So if you find out from somewhere else Andy, I'd be grateful if you could let me know too!

Or if someone on here can help - there are two of us asking now

These settings are for a Philips 42inch 9664 but will be a good starting point for yours. I use them on mine and they are pretty much spot on. A minor tweak here and there. They are courtesy of What Hifis very own Andy Clough.

Let us know how you get on.
