"The masses" don't pay £1599 to £3499 for a TV, most of them either can't afford that much for a TV or, don't think a TV is worth paying that much for.
I've got a 55OLED907 and try as I might I still can't get a picture I'm happy with, its either too dark, whites are too bright or colours seem muted, extremely frustrating!
Sorry - but no iPlayer, ITVX and Channel 4 apps is pretty pisspoor by Philips. When even the most basic of the Vestel produced supermarket own brand sets can do this, it's a joke that Philips can't particularly on a high end set with a 4 figure price tag.
And I think most normal punters would want those catch up apps ahead of a backlit remote control.
