could someone please help me in regards to the philips 42 PFL7603D and the 42 PFL9603D 100hrtz version?.

I am seriously considering getting on of these sets but does anyone think the extra cash for the 100 hrtz set is really worth it?.

Hi Printer. Some more information would help here... For example, what are you going to use your TV for, watching Freeview, Freesat or are you going to get Sky HD. What about a Blu Ray?

When you're going as big as 42" it makes sense to afford the best panel you can, especially if you plan to watch sport and movies. You really will notice the difference in picture quality with 100Hz.

I know how confusing it can be but I'd recommend getting down to a store and conmparing 50Hz sets with 100Hz sets. That way if you notice a difference you'll be able to justify the premium to yourself!
