August/September for the bigger models ie 40+ from what i can tell, i believe the 32 inch model might be out even now.

But don't forget they won't have Freeview HD tuners built into them, so you may need to wait for a set top box if that's what you fancy.

i have a 40" on pre order expected to get to me end of this month but you never know.

as for no freeview hd - its a pain but with boxes like the 3view im happy i get to pick a freeview hd box.

my only issue is does the 9000 series have any UK IP based content...cos i couldnt find any .also i hope mkv playback is smooth.

The current 9000 series has an 'almost' fully functional browser meaning all non java content is viewable. The channels themselves are a bit basic but there's YouTube, eBay etc and a nice one for the World Cup.

Is it ordered in the UK? If so, may I ask the price? Also, does a
pre-order incur the current VAT rate? I have a sneaking feeling that
VAT wil be going up soon.
