Philips 42PFL9803 Availability

I had a scout around the North East for this LCD and I could not find it at all. Some dealers said they had never heard of it, others said they weren't in stock nor would they be expecting any in the near future. I have a Sony Z4500 untill the end of the week and while it is a good LCD, I am set on getting the 42PFL9803. I am just so frustrated with the availability of the Philips LCD. I tried RGB Direct which is just about the only Online store I could find that actually had this model in stock, but they will not deliver the LCD because Philips said that the buyer MUST demo the LCD before buying, RGB Direct is far too out of the way to go and demo a TV. I just wonder if any of the WHF team could help.

Superb though the Philips sets are, they're simply not as widely
available as the more mainstream models from Sony, Panasonic, Samsung
etc.Definitely worth hunting down, though - I know John Lewis stock a lot of Philips sets, if that helps.

John Lewis is not selling it either, thanks anyway Clare. It's really making me frustrated because I seen it last year at a show, I was blown away by it's ability to produce true blacks. Since then, I wanted that TV but the availability is really poor. It's not even available through Philips online shop either.
