Hello What Hi-fi!

Would you say the 37" Philips 9000 is as impressive a set as your 42" Product of the Year????

Purely for financial reasons I'm considering the smaller screen and wanted to check that there wouldn't be any lurking draw-backs.

I can only assume though, that it is as good as the 42".

The respected reviewer describes it as a masterclass of LCD technology.

Fancy one of these myself, but a bit concerned about the need to change settings often, revisiting menus etc, but glad to hear that SD performance is excellent. Check out Tec 7 website at House of Fraser for price with 5 yr guarantee under £1k.
