Connected my TV to Vaio laptom (which has HDMI). No problem with the picture, however I have no sound. The laptop has hdmi as default sound output and it seem to function properly. Tried different HDMI ports on TV as well. Any idea how to fix that?? There is no problem with the cable since I've used it with other tv with no problem at all.

Please advice cause I really watch all my movies from laptop.

Moreover, I'm still trying to connect to my laptop using DLNA (wifi). if someone has some experience on that any extra advice will be appreciated.

just a stab in the dark , but i think you may need to set the computer to output to another display , on windows 7 i think theres an option to output to a projector , try that ?

You probably need to ensure that the laptop is set up to output Dolby Digital and DTS, and that the TV can support such sound.

The set-up will vary according to the video controller the laptop uses, but try

Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Manage Audio Devices > Playback.

Select the HDMI icon and click Properties > Supported Formats and tick the Dolby Digital and/or DTS boxes.

Click OK.
