PC to Home cinema

I've recently bought a new living room PC, with 2 DVI outputs (from a NVIDIA 8800 GTS graphics card). It's currently connected upto my 32" CRT TV with a S-video connection (and stereo audio using a jack).

This doesn't look to good and therefore I was looking at upgrading my home cinema kit to Sony KDL-40W2000 and a Sony STR-DA1200ES receiver.

My concern is with connectivity as a DVI output does not include audio. So should I connect the PC to the TV using the DVI connector (the KDL-40W2000 has a PC input) and the audio to the receiver using a digital output.

Is this likely to cause any lip sync issues, or does anyone have any suggestions regarding a DVI to HDMI converter?

Thanks

It should work fine using either a simple plug in DVI-HDMI converter, an HDMI cable with a DVI adapter on the PC end, or a dedicated DVI-HDMI cable. All the major wiremongers make suitable cables and/or adapters.

And yes, a simple digital link from PC to receiver will do the sound thing.

You shouldn't have any lipsync problems with such a set-up.
