Great album.....bit trippy at times (Birdland) but one or two real classic rock tracks. An early predecessor to punk so essential listening for music historians. Favourite track - Gloria, Free Money or title track. Haven't heard any others by her. Is Easter any good? I've heard not.

I'd certainly recomend getting Easter as well, there's some amazing monents on there that almost equal Horses. If you're starting to explore Patti's work then certainly start with those two.

You can buy it for next to nothing these days anyway so certainly worth tracking down.

I probally play Easter more than Radio Ethiopia or Wave which are the other two 70s era albums.

One of the most over rated album of all time! Easter is however more acceptable works from (my hero) Don Henleys ex bird.

Overated by whom? It's just an album I happen to like which I had been listening to that week. It's place in rock history cannot be denied - good or otherwise.
