Pathos Classic 1 Mkii and Rega RP6. What phono pre-amp?

Got a Pathos Classic 1 Mkii and about to purchase a Rega RP6. Could anyone recommend a phono pre-amp? Presently got a Pro-ject SE but guessing this won't cut the mustard?

Was looking at the Pro-ject tube boxes but any advice would be really appreciated.

like you i've a Pathos Classic One mkIII (advised by someone on this forum! 😉 hi Cno :wave🙂 I had a Brio R and did not needed a phono pre amp, but when i've bought the Pathos i came across with the same problem, and did not look elsewhere really, as i love Rega gear and on vinyl i think you can't find better in the budget!

So... I got a New Rega mm phono stage to go along my RP3.

You wont go far wrong with the Rega MM Fono, or if your feeling flush an Aria!

Looking at reviews and your comments Rega MM MK2 is clearly a great phono amp. At that price, do you think I will have a big enough step up from the Project Box SE? And no, not withstanding a successful crime caper, I can't afford the Aria.!
