Just want peoples thoughts on the image quality and sound quality of the panasonic 740. How does it compare with other brands like sony, pioneer, samsung.

any bdp should output the same picture over hdmi with blueray,upscaling of dvd can vary,when connected to a avr which will decode the signal sound will be the same as well.
