Can anyone help?

I have the DMP-BD35 and have a picture dropout issue.I have installed the latest firmware and this has had no effect-when a disc is playing (Film/Music Blu-Ray) what appears to be a signal dropout occurs with white banding of varying size.I have tried the web to seek a solution but cannot find a common fault.Does anyone know if there is a fix-I have not as yet swapped the HDMI lead (currently QED Qunex original) but failing this is it scrap?

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Craig,

This is not an issue that I have ever heard of before nor experience with my BD35, which performed faultlessly.

If you are covered by warranty, just send it back - I suspect there is something wrong with the player itself.

Thanks,

It's 18mths old hence the request.I may ask Panasonic if there's a known issue but decent budget players can be had for peanuts now.

Cheers,

Craig.

This is clearly a very unique and isolated problem - I never had any such issues with my previous BD55 either.

Don't crack your head over it - send it back. That's what warranties are for.
