panasonic SCPT560 what u think???

hi people i am looking at the panasonic SCPT560 homecinema kit, becuase it does what i need: i need something that upscales normal dvd to 1080p, is proggressive scan for pal/ntsc, has optical input aswell, 2 floor stand speakers only as i cant fit floor standing speakers in the back, its in black and also has a decent amount of rms watts as room is pritty big, most important its only £300, i cannot go any more than this budget for a cineamkit.

i have read in 1 of the post that said no no no to panasonic!!! but why?

ok panasonic cineam kits may have been poor in the past but u never know about this 1 as the spec sounds really good, any reviews on this kit by the way or when??

im also buying the samsung le40a559 lcd tv as its only £649 but comes with 3 yrs garuntee as im a member and generally speaking samsung tv are pritty good any reviews on this by the way or when?

any thoughts or suggestions???

Panasonic's speakers generally let them down, but you're right, until you've heard it, you can't say it will be bad - that's why auditioning is important. For that budget, I'd look at the LG HT902TB as well and see which one you prefer.
