Panasonic PT470?

I am about to make my first foray into the 'surround sound' jungle & would like to know of anyone has any knowledge of a PT470?

I am also thinking of purchasing the wireless adapter for the rears?

I won't be plugging a games console in to it so do I need a digital interconnect or will a HDMI cover my current needs?

The reviews so far seem pretty good. So how does it perform?

This will be linked to my 42" Panny.

This appears to be a DVD system, perhaps you should consider a Bluray system from the same manufacturer
