The WHF summary of Panasonic's new offerings in your CES 2011 forum had me salivating. each day since, I've gone online (I live in Christchurch, NZ) hoping to find one of WHF's usual high-standard reviews for the flagship DMP-BDT310 blu-ray deck, but to no avail. When can we expect a WHF website online review then? It has to be more interesting than the low-spec DMP-BDT75 reviewed in the April hard copy edition, surely?

No strategic decision to go for the budget Panasonic player first - it just was the first to arrive in our test rooms! (And first to go on sale over here).

We have a review of the Panasonic DMP-BDT310 Blu-ray player in our very next issue - posted out to subscribers on 5th April; on sale here in UK by 11th.

I'd expect the review to go online by end of April.

There'll be less of a wait in the future: we're planning a digital edition (details/dates to follow over the next few weeks, once they're finalised) of the magazine, so that overseas readers can get their copies at the same time as everyone here in UK.

And finally, my thoughts go out to everyone in Christchurch as you recover from the recent quake.

Hi,

I'd like to add my sentiments to Clare's. We complain about a few inches of snow then watch a town being wiped out. Makes you realise how lucky you are. Best wishes on a speedy recovery to normality.

Cheers,

Cofnchtr.
