Panasonic blu ray and speakers???

Hi, i have a panasonic plasma connected to my Panasonic bdp 30k. Just wondering what home cinema/speakers would go well with this. I would like them to be panasonic because of the viera link. And how would i go about connecting this to my blu ray player to get 5.1 as my current surround sound doesnt give me 5.1?????

The connection will either need to be optical or coax (digital) AFAIK to get the full effect.

What is your budget for new surround system?
