Panasonic 46PZ start up on HDMI Channel

Hi everyone, is it possible to automatically start this TV on the HDMI channel. I know it can go to AV but thats no good when everything I have has a HDMI cable.

Hi,

I have my TV set to come on to AV and when my SKYHD starts, it auto displays the HDMI option.

What are you trying to watch?

I have my pz81 set to start on HDMI1 , can check exactly where later if you need me to.

Set it to "AV" and put the one you want it to start up on in HDMI1.

As said set it to AV in the start up menu. I have my HDMI from Sky box in to HDMI 1 on the TV. Remember that Sky must be switched on before the TV so the TV picks up a signal and auto switches to HDMI 1.

Thanks guys, HDMI 1 worked a treat, amp now going into HDMI2. Have ordered a blu ray so thats my next bit of fun.

Hi hilly10 New to forum as a member but not as an avid reader. I have the PZ 80 and cant get it to start auotmatically on hdmi 1 which i have sky hd connected to. If possible could you give me step by step instructions as to how i can achieve this. Have tried everything. Thanks in ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP

Hi, press 'Menu' then 'Setup' then scroll down to 'Power on Preference' and select 'AV'

Thanks grdunn123. I have the irish version of the pz80 and dont have that selection option power on preference on it. Explains why i couldnt set it up as requested. Thanks for your reply anyway
