I am looking to replace my ageing tv and vhs recorder digi box and dvd player the tv is at least 15 yrs old still good picture but sound going.

I want the freesat I have narrowed the choice to the above two and the panasonic blue ray recoder box which to me will do everthing I need.

I am a complete novice and would welcome any advice, to me the panasonic has better sound and the samsung probably a better picture.

samsung dont do freesat on their tvs yet , you can get a 50g10 for £915 at the moment ,the 42g10 is £715, the 50v10 was available for £1299 at house of fraser ,though i think that offer is finished , the 42v10 is around £950 , , the 46inch samsung 7020 is still over the £1200 mark i think , a humax foxsat pvr is around £300 , you can record sd and hd with that , so if you go with a panasonic , you have more choice depending on what you want to spend , go with a 46inch samsung led and a humax and your talking £1500ish ..
