Panamax M5300-PM 11 Outlet Clean Power

Hey guys,

I was considering purchasing a Panamax M5300…it’s a surge protector but also is supposed t o be a noise isolator as well.

I’ve heard rumors that such devices can hurt sound dynamics, depth and energy…is there really any truth to that? If so, could you explain?

To me, it seems like the Panamax M5300 simply ensures proper clean voltage to your equipment.

Silly price, don't bother. Buy a surge protecting socket strip, Belkin or similar.

Ive simply heard of people disliking the sound of power conditioners and i just didnt understand the reasoning behind that.

Just as one can imagine it makes the sound better one can also imagine it makes it worse.

Don't think it's even available in the UK. For the price of it you could probably get an electrician out to 'upgrade' the supply thereby negating any need to 'fix' it at the end of the chain.
