optical or analogue cable

hi guys,

just ordered a NAD C545BEE CD-player.

I have an ONKYO AV-receiver TX-NR906.

Via which kind of cable should this be coupled

I think the DAC's from the NAD are better than the ones in the ONKYO, so my guess would be analogue .

Optical cables cost peanuts (unless you're into boutique cables) , why not try both and go with what sounds better.
