onkyo upscaling

can someone tell me how to upscale my sky+ by going through my onkyo 606,my only problem is that my sky box is in my lounge and my 26" hdtv,onkyo 606,ps3 is in my conservatory about 7meters away.i am watching my sky in conservatory at moment by magic eye,but i feel that been as i have got upscaling on my 606 i might as well use it if possable.

I'm pretty sure you have to drop down to the S-Video output rather than RGB scart to hook up to your Onkyo from Sky+ which a few people have tried and said that you're better off sticking with the RBG scart direct to the TV (certainly that was my experience with my Topfield Freeview PVR and my Onkyo 905). The upscaling comes into its own if you ever had to hook the Sky+ box into a display without a scart socket e.g. most projectors.

agree with u prof on that i connected my sky + to my onkyo875 through scart to component converter box all qed.but still got better pic by connecting sky direct to tv.
