ONKYO TXSR806 back to £799.95

Hi.

A few months back I just got this awesome (silver) av receiver from Richer Sounds for £399---now it's already £799. Also, both silver and black are of the same price. Just got lucky!

I bought a 806 in black from Superfi In January @ £489.

Unfortunately I am still waiting for it, now nearly two months after. Aparently they are waiting for Onkyo to deliver.

Anyone else having trouble getting an onkyo amp?

Emailed Onkyo directly, ut had no answer back as to the reason for the wait.

This really does bring home the reality of the current economic climate - the 876 is back up to it's original price of £999. What is quite ironic is that in the "save" column on their website it says "BARGAIN"... ÿ

When I bought my 806 for £399 the 876 was only £599 and the 906 was £799. But all in silver. Perhaps I should have chosen the 906 then.

Got mine for £390 and just noticed that Richersounds had put them back up to full price!!
