Onkyo TX NR 808 replacement

Good evening

i have an Onkyo TX NR 808 and I believe the ARC is faulty and am looking for a replacement, I have just invested in a 4K TV so want a receiver that can take a 4K signal from an Xbox One S and transmit it to my 4K tv so I can benefit from the 4K output.

I am hoping to be able to get a receiver for around £500 (can stretch to more) that is of similar or better sound quality (due to advancements in technology) and am happy to move away from Onkyo as have had a few niggles with my receiver.

any suggestions on what is best to get for my money is much appreciated
