Onkyo sr 876 Speaker Hiss problems.

Hi guys,bought the sr876 about 8-10 weeks ago but recently noticed that there is hiss coming from my front L/R speakers only.

Thought it was mains related and spent ages sorting out speaker cable/mains/and interconnects etc,but realised it was when

DPL and DTS neo 6 modes were in use for analogue and ntl cable sources only.Any thoughts ?,DD5.1 and Dts dvds fine.

Also find centre slightly harder/cooler sounding than other speakers which are warmer and smoother,tried audessy many times and

lots of tweaking but pretty much the same.

Tannoy mm floorstanders,mc centre,m1 rears,Onkyo sr 876reciever,Philips32pfl7762 lcd,Ntl cable,Sony rdrhx510hdd/dvdr.

Tacima mains block.

I'm bumping this out of curiosity... If it only happens on analogue sources, perhaps it's your analogue source/interconnect?

Thanks for the reply Big Aura ,I use a digital coaxial lead from the dvd recorder to the amp and another from my cable box to the

amp but hiss is in my main L/R speakers regardless.I dont use analogue phonos at all.Any ideas chaps.
