Dear colleagues, please I need some advice from you.

I got at a very good price an Onkyo Amplifier A-9010 (https: //www.whathifi...kyo/9010/review), being stimulated quite well by the reviews on the net of this amp..

I had before that a Sony CHC TB-10 mini sound system, that was starting to have some problems (https: //www.elforum....cred-interrupt/).
I tricked it a few years ago, in the sense that I had a sound source connected to AUX, then from the headphones jack I connected wire to Line In to another small 5.1 system amplifier (Cambridge Soundworks Dtt 2500 https://www.anandtech.com/ Show / 390). I was basically using this 5.1 with the Sony remote control.

Now I took this Onkyo and had some speakers in the house, the ones from Sony, 2x50 RMS 6Ohm and some German RTF B 9261, 2 x 50 W 4Ohm 50Hz-18Khz (https: //www.google.r...AKdO9voM: & vet \u003d 1)

With Sony speakers (vented) it sounds surprisingly good, but I want to give them to my parents at home, after I solve the problem of the Sony internal amp. Plus they are another color, silver, and look very bad in the library with Onkyo andthe Turntable (RTF Ziphona Concert 2030). It delivers a pretty well defined bass, deep, even at a small volume. This interests me in particular, to have clarity and depth at low volume.

With the RTF (compression) speakers, which I reconditioned aesthetically, painted, changed cloths and mounted banana connectors, it sounds decent, but in no case as expected. They have no depth, the highs sound very good, but they tend to have deliver the bass when the Onkyo is at least half volume and I activate Loudness and set the Bass Knob to the maximum, which is disappointing. When I connect the turntable, those speakers come alive, they sound warm, they have depth, the highs sound great, the bass the same. If I play from youtube, from TV or even from PC - Hi Fi, Hi Res music, HQ etc. It seems to do the job, but for anything else is sounds awful. I hear more medium tones rather than the low. They tend to sound cheap like plastic speakers.

What can I do? I was really holding on to those speakers, they are heavy, they are in very good technical condition, the filters seem ok, the speakers the same. Also I have worked to give them a civilized aspect. I know that in no way I can not add a bass tube The bass speaker is not made for this and I do not know how to calculate it, because I do not know the parameters of the speaker.

Thank you

Guys, what do you think of Taga Harmony?

I have options, for now

budget 100-200E

maybe Polk Audio

I am looking for something that has a minimum of 13-16.5cm bass driver, and silk tweeter. I.ve heard that is good for "worm" neutral sound.

I can't install subwoofer. so please don.t mention it.

I love Monitor speakers, but their high-end have ribbon tweeters, and the lower end (including the Monitor 100s) have C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) tweeters. If your set on silk tweeters, then these are not your speakers, and WHF actually says a draw back is they lack warmth - here

Maybe, at your budget, you could try the Dali Spektor 2, or the Mission LX-2?

Is there any way you can audition any of these speakers, as there's not substitute for hearing them yourself...
