ONKYO 606

Can anyone confirm does this AMP send sound through the HMDI connections or not? I have a SONY 1200ES and it does not send sound through the AMP via HDMI and i am thinking of upgrading to the ONKYO 606 if this models does.

 

Would this be a good upgrade for me? as i am having issues with too many HDMI devices and not enough HDMI & OPT connections on my SONY AMP

Yes the Sony does too.

Which is best? It's a close-run thing, but IMO the Sony just edges it on all-round ability.
