Hi, newbie here. I am looking to get an new 65inch 4K TV and upgrade or ditch my existing surround sound system. The whole system is about 20 years old, we haven't used it for years because the dialog was always hard to understand on lots of the settings, so didn't use it after moans from the family. (all the wires are still there). I originally bought the system so that I could change the TV and still have decent sound. Now I appreciate it is really old but can anyone tell me if it is worth keeping the speakers and buying a new receiver or should I go down the soundbar route. I am not up-to-date on Home Cinema any more, but do realise that sound bars aren't as go as surround sound. This is the kit:-

2 x B&W DM601 speakers
2 x B&W DM603 speakers (floor standing)
1 B&W centre speaker
Yamaha RX-V590RDS

Many thanks (y)
